OrthoNOW Names Thelma Cela Director of Clinical Operations

OrthoNOW®, a network of walk-in specialized urgent care centers focused on sports medicine and the treatment and prevention of orthopedic injuries recently announced the appointment of Thelma Cela as Director of Clinical Operations. In the newly created position, Ms. Cela will be responsible for all franchise clinical matters, establishing the direction of clinical policies and procedures, monitoring healthcare policy changes, and providing the executive franchisor team with data analysis and reporting for all sites.

Thelma has over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry and has previously held senior positions in such leading organizations as Leon Medical Centers and Mercy Hospital. She has served on the healthcare business council of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Multiple Sclerosis News and Views. Thelma is a graduate of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class XV.
